Searching For Textures is a sensory studio based in Jozi, dedicated to reimagining spaces and places through the use of fragrance, music, food, photography, text, and product design. Our studio has developed an extensive line of scented products, along with lifestyle items that perfectly complement the environments where our scents are presented.

Searching For Textures was conceptualised by  Bongani Tshabalala in 2020.

The brand believes that fragrance should be treated similar to fashion, art, or music. “You should choose your fragrance like you choose your clothes and music every morning,” Our first fragrance range is inspired  by a few of Bongani’s favourite cities , each scent takes you on a trip to each city and comes with accompanying music, photography and text  that gives you a fully immersive sensory experience .
